WOODTURNING | WOODFINISHING | WOODCARVING | SPECIALIST

This is a basic gilding course with the beginner in mind. It will cover the traditional techniques of laying gold leaf and will provide the skills for future projects.

Tutor: Pamela Keeton
Pamela Keeton was trained at Lincoln College of Art for four years in Conservation and Restoration Studies. Pamela has ten years experience specialising in the conservation and restoration of giltwood furniture. During some of this time she has worked for a small but respected conservation team in Sheffield which undertakes work for museums, national institutions and stately homes, including National Trust properties, UPPARK. In conjunction with her freelance conservation work Pamela runs gilding courses and workshops for both beginners and for the specialist student. In these both traditional techniques and purely decorative effects have been explored.

Should Pamela at any time be unavailable, another tutor of similar calibre will conduct the course.
